1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using PlacementLog ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
PlacementLog provides a platform for tracking job applications, managing placement deadlines, and organizing job search activities. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
3. User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Pricing and Payment
Free Plan: Limited to 5 placements with basic features.
Credits: Available for purchase to create additional placements. Credits do not expire.
Pro Plan: One-time payment of £14.99 for unlimited placements.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing Pro access or credits, you expressly request immediate access to digital content and waive your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Upload malicious code or spam
- Use automated systems to access the Service
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PlacementLog and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of data you submit to the Service.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and use your data as described in that policy. By using PlacementLog, you consent to such processing.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through our data request process.
9. Limitation of Liability
PlacementLog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
